The role of psychological science in the spiritual and moral development of students

The role of spiritual and moral psychology in the spiritual and moral development of students is revealed. The importance of moral development of students of technical universities is emphasized. Some psychological characteristics of adolescence are analyzed. The main content of spiritual and moral psychology as a new direction of domestic psychological science is determined. The internal and external factors of human development and their influence on the moral development of the individual are characterized. Internal factors include biological, hereditary factors; to external - the social environment surrounding the individual. Traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, high moral ideals of our people are listed. Attention is focused on chastity as a complex of qualities united by wisdom and integrity, inner beauty. A set of forms and methods for the spiritual and moral development of students in the university education system has been defined.
