The role of development of natural-science fundamental categories among students in teaching bachelors of ecology

The problem of teaching bachelors of ecology within the framework of modern educational standards is discussed. It is proposed to use the activity approach in developing an educational strategy. The need to use the activity approach is associated with the fact that the subjects of the ecologist’s reection are phenomena that are constantly changing and the ecologist’s activity is changing, which means that the traditional passive «descriptive» approach does not satisfy modern concepts of reality. The need for the student to develop fundamental natural science categories for immersion in the subject-practical activity, development of reective skills and thinking skills is determined. The connection between the development of fundamental natural science concepts in bachelors of environmental trends and the level of their professionalism is noted
