Russia's influence on education and science in Uzbekistan

This paper analyzes historical evidence which show the Russia's role in the development of science and education in Uzbekistan and the Central Asia in 19 and 20 centuries. Russia popularized the ancient scientific achievements of Central Asia and its contribution to the world civilization. The study rests on the facts from research and publications of the Uzbek scientists in the field of history of a science.
