The Role of Russian Student Groups in the Formation of a Patriotic Worldview Based on Historical Memory among the Younger Generation

This article presents a socio-philosophical analysis of the ideological foundation of Russian stu-dent groups and their contribution to shaping the patriotic outlook of the younger generation. It explores the history of this movement, from its origins as a voluntary initiative to its decline in the 1990s and its recent revival. Particular attention is paid to the development of pedagogical activities of these groups in children’s health camps. The theo-retical analysis of the concepts of worldview and historical memory is conducted. The assessment of current chal-lenges in the development of patriotic values among young people is provided. It is demonstrated how the activities of student groups contribute to fostering love for the homeland, shaping historical identity, and promoting responsi-bility for preserving patriotic values. The study illustrates the efficacy of student groups in maintaining historical memory and shaping patriotic consciousness in contemporary times.
