In today's environment, project-based work is becoming one of the key approaches to organizing the work process. This article examines the characteristics of staff motivation in project activities and identifies specific difficulties associated with the high level of uncertainty and increased workload of project specialists. Based on an analysis of scientific works and practical professional research, the role of the manager in creating a staff motivation system in a project organization is determined.
