In this article we describe a self-organization role in a university department staff formation. During last decades, the problem of the university department staff formation is very important, especially in connection with a transition to a two-level system of higher education. It's impossible to form the university department staff with traditional methods because of the world nonlinearity. The synergetics offers some decisions of this problem because the subject of the synergetics is a self-organization.
