In the context of creating alternative ways to boost the economy in remote areas, agritourism stands out as a key element that helps weave natural and cultural- historical resources into broader regional growth strategies. This fi eld doesn’t just help spread out economic activities, cutting back on reliance on old-school farming methods, but it also sparks social shifts, like creating extra job opportunities and improving the living standards of local residents. Realworld evidence suggests that agritourism plays a role in preserving cultural heritage, as tourists get directly involved with traditional customs, which ultimately brings in money for community groups. In emerging zones, such as Siberia or parts of Central Asia, this type of leisure activity helps break down geographic barriers by drawing in outside funding and modern tech innovations. At the same time, getting good outcomes hinges on fi nding a balance between business goals and eco-friendly practices, because too much human interference can lead to the breakdown of natural environments. Based on case studies from Russia, China, and Kazakhstan, it demonstrates how government policies, including subsidies and infrastructure investments, enhance positive effects.
