The article deals with certain aspects of improving the accounting of inventories. Attention is paid to the features of uninterrupted and rhythmic functioning of the enterprise. The measures allowing to achieve not only the improved accounting of material production stocks, but also their rational use are allocated. Do not remain without attention to the functioning and practical importance of warehousing for most modern enterprises.
