Role of smart technologies in teaching foreign languages

The article deals with the increase of the significance of smart technologies in the innovative paradigm of education under the influence of the integration processes, the globalization and transition from the industrial society to information society in the context of the fast-moving social changes. There is conducted the content and comparative analysis of the distance, online and mobile education in teaching foreign languages, the theoretical basis of the computer linguodidactics as a particular direction of the teaching methods of foreign languages on the basis of smart technologies.
