The inextricable link between standardization and technological progress, achieved through practical research, creates modern technologies aimed at the efficient use of available resources. Thus, non-stationary storage of crop products in sealed polymer bags, which provide protection from precipitation, has become a part of agricultural technology both abroad and in Russia. This article presents an analysis of modern crop storage technologies in the climatic conditions of Central Russia (Tambov Region). The work gives data on the field observations of the production site and laboratory studies of corn grain quality parameters. It is established that polymer sleeve structures are susceptible to damage and cannot ensure complete grain containment. Rodents and birds are environmental factors that negatively impact field storage processes, with their peak activity occurring in autumn and early summer. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of corn grain for mycotoxins has revealed the presence of T-2 toxin, fumonisin, zeralenone, and deoxynivalenol in various concentrations, with a minimum value of 0.003 mg/kg and a maximum of 0.344 mg/kg, which does not exceed the established limits. We associate the increase in mycotoxins with a violation of hermetic grain storage conditions and moisture ingress into the grain.
