The role of secondary vocational education in the training of mid-level specialists, skilled workers and employees

The relevance of the research topic is determined by the existing shortage of midlevel specialists and skilled workers, employees, updating the system and increasing the prestige of secondary vocational education. The purpose of the article is to consider the importance of secondary vocational education in the training of mid-level specialists, skilled workers and employees. The object of this research is educational institutions of secondary vocational education. The main research methods are the statistical method, comparison, analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction. Results. The Federal Law on Education, the Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for the Implementation of Strategic Planning Documents for 2023, and official statistics were used. The number of state, municipal and private organizations of secondary vocational education, students of full-time, part-time, part-time forms of education under the programs of training mid-level specialists, training of qualified workers, employees, the number of personnel by level of education, the average monthly salary are considered. Career centers, the All-Russian Championship Movement in Professional Skills, the implementation of the federal project «Professionalism» are shown. As the main conclusion, it can be stated that the system of secondary vocational education is being updated, which is manifested in changes in the educational process in educational organizations, in their joint work with employers, and an increase in demand for secondary vocational education programs. In the literature review, one can note such works as the structure and parameters of scenarios for the development of secondary vocational education in the Russian Federation until 2035, marketing solutions of secondary vocational education organizations, the development of vocational education in the regions, modular technology for the formation of professional competence of students of secondary vocational education, the formation of student competitiveness in the social partnership of a technical school with employers, the formation of an entrepreneurial culture of students of secondary vocational education institutions, the social and professional adaptation of students in secondary vocational education institutions. It is also necessary to mention such publications as the scientific and methodological foundations of the organization of training sessions in the system of secondary vocational education, the organization of the system of internal control of educational and production work in the organization of secondary vocational education, interactive teaching methods as a means of forming professional competencies in a professional educational organization, educational activities in secondary vocational education.
