The role of student volunteer projects in the formation of career motivation among orphaned children

The article explores the importance of student-led volunteer initiatives in helping orphaned and abandoned children find their professional identity and build their career motivation. The authors see student-driven projects as a powerful tool in the field of career guidance for teenagers facing difficult life circumstances. Contemporary research approaches to professional self-determination go beyond providing information during career guidance sessions. They also include the dynamics of social interactions that occur during the guidance process. Organizers and participants of "Polytech Gives Knowledge!" emphasize the transformative impact of student volunteers on the emotional well-being, behavior, and perceptions of children in orphanages, highlighting the profound influence of these initiatives on the personal development of those children. The authors conclude that interested parties can successfully use a similar framework for collaboration among social organizations, educational institutions, and professional networks to support orphaned and abandoned children.
