Role of technological features of industries in formation of the competitive relations on the intermediate product markets

The article reveals the peculiarities of formation of the competitive relations in the markets for intermediate products. The market barriers are studied as defining determinants of the effectiveness of intra-industry and inter-industry competition. Also, the author systematizes the existing classifications of the market barriers and proposes an original classification of industry entrance/exit barriers, in which the special role is given to the technological features of industries’ production generating the intermediate product market.
