The role of transport in improving the territorial organization of production

The article discusses the main functions that transport performs in the system of social reproduction. Increasing the degree of transport development of territories contributes to the expansion of opportunities associated with the involvement of economic resources in economic circulation. The purpose of the study is to clarify the role played by transport in the formation of a rational spatial organization of production and improvement of economic relations between regions. The article notes that the state of transport should meet the needs of the regions for transport services, as well as create conditions for the development of integration processes between enterprises located in different regions.
