In this article we consider the problem of cognitive interest. The methodological basis of our study was the works of scientists: RS. Nemov., L.P. Borzova., N.G. Morozova, G.I. Shchukin, S.A. Zhukova, D.D. Danilov, Т.S. Golubeva and others devoted to the study and analysis of cognitive interest in younger schoolchildren. Identified the role of creative tasks in the formation of cognitive interest in history lessons in younger schoolchildren. The following methods were used in the work: questioning, testing and interviews with teachers.
