The role of the textbook in the independent activity in chemistry of medical university students

Independent work of students of higher educational institutions is an integral part of modern education. In the work programs, a large amount of time is allocated for the independent activity of students. When preparing for homework on the discipline "Chemistry", a basic textbook is recommended. This article is devoted to the study of the role of the textbook in the independent training of students and its impact on the successful development of chemistry as a key discipline in the formation of a doctor's personality. The article, based on the analysis of the literature, reveals the role of the textbook in the independent activity of students, presents the results obtained during the experimental work and their discussion.
