The article analyzes the relationship between the level of education and professional status with behavioral intention and the actual use of digital technologies in organizations in Ghana and Russia. A cross-sectional survey of 517 respondents from these countries was conducted from January to August 2025. The questions related to behavioral intention, current technology use, education level, professional status, employment, and organizational climate. In both countries, the intention was high, while the actual usage was higher in Russia. The data from the least squares regression results showed that expected performance and social impact remain the main predictors of intention when controlling for concomitant factors. An ordinal logistic regression revealed a relationship between actual usage and education, social influence, leadership support, and employment, with higher chances observed in private companies and universities. The interaction of the variables “education” and “Ghana” is positive, which indicates a greater effectiveness of education in Ghana. The results confirm a two-step approach in which beliefs form motivation and organizational conditions stabilize routine use.
