This article discusses vegetarian diets. The usefulness of this diet in relation to the main nutritional nutrients, such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates and micronutrients, is analyzed. Two types of diets are compared: omnivorous and vegetarian according to the balance of the content of nutrients and their effect on the body of athletes.
