The research defines the significance of higher education in creative human capital management. The study of factors, environment, and features of human capital management is due to the evolving role of human capital in the economy, manufacturing, social relations, and labor market in the transition to a knowledge economy. The main approaches to the concept of creative capital are defined. Regardless of the approach used in the analysis, the key element of creative capital is knowledge, human abilities, which allow one to generate new non-standard ideas and solutions. The author substantiates that higher education has a significant impact on the formation, reproduction, and development of creative human capital. The institution of education aims to achieve a certain level and quality of education enabling a person to become a competitive expert during the transition to knowledge and information economy. This institution develops skills required at this stage of social development.
