The physics teacher's role in the context of digitalization of education

The article covers the research results on the issue of a physics teacher’s roles diversity, associated with the process of digitalization of education. The new aspects of their professional practice, that reflect the specificity of new digital tools based on IT technologies, used to solve didactic tasks of teaching physics, are presented. A new model of physics teacher based on system engineering is suggested.
