The novel “King Solomon's mines” by H.R. Haggard in reception of K.I. Chukovskiy

Chukovskiy was the author of one of the first critical works in Russia devoted to the works of Haggard, specifically, the adventure novel “King Solomon’s Mines”. The distinctive feature of the novel is its “believable” faithfulness, established by the specifics of the author’s imagination that is full of factuality. K.I. Chukovskiy substantiates that the central character of the novel is Haggard’s prototype.
