The novel “Kasyan Ostudniy” by Ivan Akulov and its characters

The article deals with the system of the characters of the novel “Kasyan Ostudniy” by Ivan Akulov. There are analyzed the ways and the techniques of the development of the characters. There is emphasized that the creation of the colorful, memorable figures of the characters is the artistic achievements of the author. There are emphasized the women images. There are drawn the parallels with the other works of the village theme that allows to reveal the traditional and innovatory traits of the novel by I. Akulov.
