Russian youth as an object of social work

In this article, Russian youth is considered as an object of social work; Socio-demographic and reproductive approaches to youth as a socio-demographic group are used as part of the study of the sociology of youth. Social work with Russian youth is analyzed as a special type of activity, a comprehensive system of social services, the purpose of which is to satisfy the socially guaranteed and personal interests and needs of youth as a socio-demographic group, the creation of conditions that contribute to the improvement and development of youth abilities for optimal reproduction. Youth social problems are considered, which are determined by the contradictions associated with specific youth requests, needs, interests, values, goals and methods of activity of young people. The authors describe the directions of social work with youth. Social work with youth is analyzed as a three-level system, which should be carried out at three levels: micro, meso- and macro levels. Social projects for youth and their key goals are described. It is concluded that when developing socio-economic programs for working with Russian youth, social services, it is necessary to take into account the specific social status of youth in the process of social development and social reproduction.
