The Russian education system in the context of globalization: problem statement

The article analyses domestic system of education against a background of experience of the West and the East. Considering the education system as a matrix determining the Russian mentality, the author focuses on the philosophy of education. The latter is some experience of achieving the unity of informative and ethical, rational and emotional-sensual principles implemented in the space of dialogue of identities, which objectivation is recognized at the level of dialectics of meaning and value.
