Russian legislation of the VII-VIII centuries: a retrospective analysis

This article analyzes the legislation of the Russian state during the reign of the Romanovs Alexei Mikhailovich, Peter I Alekseevich, Catherine the Great. The normative legal acts of the studied period of the development of Russian statehood are considered, and the problem of the lack of a systematic approach in the formation of the legislative base of the state is also raised. The author examines the normative legal acts of the specified periods of history, draws conclusions about the importance of the adoption of individual laws, and also raises the problem of a high level of quantitative indicator of the laws issued in conjunction with the lack of a systematic approach.
