"Russian antiquity": experience in the identification

In the present article the author considers the concept “Russian antiquity”, importance of ancient culture for modern society. Besides, the author represents Christianization of Russia as one of the main prerequisites promoting formation of moral qualities of the Russian person and his cultural component. The author opens proximity of ideology of Christianity and traditional compassion of the Russian person. In article the emphasis is placed on sincere beauty, mercy and originality with which all Old Russian art is filled. Addressing to history and cultural development of our country, the author comes to a conclusion about need of preservation of cultural heritage and the address to him, and also about importance of return of public ideology.
