This article explores the relationship between Russian literature and the culture of Eastern Europe. Various aspects of this connection are examined, including the influence of Eastern European literary traditions on Russian literature, as well as the interaction of Russian culture with the cultures of Eastern Europe. The article analyzes the works of Russian writers that reflect the influence of Eastern European culture, and explores the thematic and stylistic parallels between Russian and Eastern European literature. At the same time, the article draws attention to the influence of political, social and historical factors on the development of Russian and Eastern European literature and culture in general. The article also discusses the similarities and differences between Russian and Eastern European literature, explores the issues of translation and interpretation of Eastern European texts into Russian, and also examines the role of translators and literary intermediaries in this process. Overall, the article provides an extensive overview of the research on this topic and is a valuable contribution to the study of Russian and Eastern European literature and culture.
