The Russian “Don Juan”: early translation of the poem of G. Byron

The article deals with the comparative analysis of two first full translations of the poem “Don Juan” by G. Byron - P.A. Kozlov, D.D. Minaev. There are suggested the unpopular translations of the poem to specialists and qualified readers. There is given the opportunity to conclude independently without basing on the critic that is often far from constructive.
