Market structure as the factor of railroad freight activity tariff differentiation in the RF and abroad

The transportation burden in the production costs in the RF made 7,5 % in 2009. The RF got the 3rd place in the railroad freight tariffs at that. Railroad freight tariffs differentiation in the countries is defined with the railroad freight market structure ( the level of concentration). The tariff structure differs in the type of shipping and the fright. As distinct from the RF in the countries the use of the market mechanisms of price setting enables to use various criteria of differentiation considering the type of shipping. In contrast to other countries the tariffs much depend on the type of the fright.
