The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of current legal issues and challenges related to the regulation of the dynamically developing online advertising market in Russia. The paper sets out the tasks of identifying key contradictions in current legislation, in particular, the Federal Law “On Advertising”, and evaluating the effectiveness of innovations such as the Unified Register of Online Advertising. Based on the analysis of judicial practice, explanations from the FAS of Russia and scientific publications, the author identifies problem areas, including the legal status of the site as an advertisement, labeling and bringing violators to justice. The practical significance of the work lies in the development of specific proposals for improving legal regulation, which can be used to minimize legal risks and build fair advertising activities in the digital environment. The conducted research allows us to quickly form a holistic view of modern challenges in the field of digital law.
