The article considers one of the genres of publishing discourse: the website of a publishing house. The scientific novelty of the research arises from the limited research on this genre, the website of the children’s literature publishing house, as a means for promoting books. The aim of the article is to identify the texts with the characteristics of the humanitarian and educational missions presented in special sections of the website. The author offers an analysis of the verbal and nonverbal elements used by the SASSI website to present itself, promote its corporate philosophy, and communicate its goals and values. The article states that this type of book publishing genre has the potential to influence readers through its communicative and pragmatic elements. The article discusses the characteristics of these texts, such as their informational appeal and ability to target specific audiences. The role of texts in the "mission" genre within the context of a children's literature publishing house website is explored. The relevance of studying genres of publishing discourse is questioned.
