Original representation of folklore traditions of the Erzyan people in the novel “Stepan Erzya” by K. G. Abramov

The article considers the display of a “natural” language in a trilogy novel “Stepan Erzya” by K. G. Abramov. Using the exact empirical examples it proves that in his novel the writer creates socio-cultural background of the time, the images of an individual person and people. He prefers the creative techniques, which give the reader a clear idea of the national coloring and folk traditions of the Erzyan people.
