The article considers self-management as a way to control private activity for the teacher of high school. Self-management includes "technological" and "psychological" aspects, each of which contributes to the adaptation of the teacher to the existing conditions of activity. Psychological aspect of self-management involves not only professional, but also personal growth, the creation of the meaning of their own activities.
