Self-determination and legal bases of development of indigenous small peoples of the Russian Federation

The article considers the legal aspects of the status of small peoples living on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as the main problems that these categories of ethnic groups encounter in the process of their life. The question is also raised about the need to develop federal legislation in order to avoid various errors and directly conflicts, for the best regulation of the rights and obligations of this category of citizens of the Russian Federation.
