Self-development in a situation of inner-personal crisis

The article deals with psychological basis and semantic value of professional self-development as the choice of the subject of activity in a situation of inner-personal crisis. Such situation represents impartially repeated events in human life. The work shows a simultaneous (resonant) combination of value of fundamental needs: as a personality - in self-preservation, as an individual - in social recognition and as a subject of activity - in professional self-development. The author shows developing importance of such a choice as a way of constructive psychological «management» of a situation and its potential application in modern educational environment and, at the same time, target limitation of its actual realization.
