The article deals with the experience of the Chinese students who independently realize distance e-learning during the isolation period caused by coronavirus. There is emphasized the degree of accepting e-learning by the students of different level and age. The author pays attention to the learning productivity, the comprehensive improvement and the raise of the learning quality. There is highlighted the teachers’ learning and the change of the teachers’ role in the educational process.
