The article presents the results of studying the sanitizing effect of the antibacterial sanitary-hygienic agent "Lamifit". The sanitary and bacteriological condition of the air environment was evaluated by the air microbial number index by the Koch sedimentation method. The total microbial count in the air was determined by sampling on nutrient media, using Omelyansky formula. It was found that double sanitation of livestock buildings in the presence of animals with the antibacterial agent Lamifit reduced the total bacterial insemination of the air environment. Qualitative composition of the microflora in the air of calf house at that was characterized by the presence of the following microorganisms: E. coli - 22,2 %, St. aureus - 33,8 %, Str. faecalis - 18,7 %, Pr. vulgaris - 25,3 % and mycoses - 12,4 %. Staphylococcus cultures isolated in cowsheds were pathogenic. In cowsheds the total number of microorganisms in the association of E. coli - 28.1 %, St. aureus - 13.5 %, Pr. vulgaris - 29.3 % and mycoses - 29.1 %. After double sanitation the quantitative composition of the microflora in the premises decreased on average by 28.8 %. The obtained data allow us to recommend the antibacterial agent Lamifit for sanitation of the air environment in livestock buildings.
