The following article covers on the possibilities of precedent proper names usage (in particular of Bible origin) to create communicative speech situations at the English classes. The author underlines the problem that proper names are being the narrowest adopted part of vocabulary in the teaching process and they don't receive the study in linguistics and in the practice of translation.
