Semantic analysis of definitions of the educational technology concept

The contemporary education science has a number of definitions of the 'educational technology' concept. Many scholars offer their own interpretation of this concept, which doesn't help to develop a unified conceptual framework to improve the effectiveness of professional communication. As a result of the analysis of definitions of the educational technology, the article considers its specific features, goals, subject and object reflecting its semantic essence.
