The article is based on the results of a study conducted among student youth in Kursk. The general population consisted of 36,000 university students, with a sample size of N = 480 for the research. The confidence level of the survey was set at 97 %, with a margin of error of ± 5 %. A specially designed questionnaire was employed for data collection. The results obtained allowed for the identification of communicative risks associated with the matrimonial behavior of student youth (using the example of students from Kursk). These risks include: the virtualization of communication, involvement in social networks, increased migration, the prevalence of interethnic and unregistered unions, and the formation of a negative image of family in the media. It is noted that the reduction of communicative risks cannot be achieved solely through economic measures; rather, a mechanism to influence the belief systems of young individuals is necessary. As such, the family ideologeme is proposed as a potential tool for this purpose. The results and conclusions drawn from the study contribute to an expanded understanding of the extent to which youth are influenced by the Internet, as well as the nature of the prevalence of civil marriages and their impact on the matrimonial behavior of modern youth. This, in turn, underscores the relevance of ideologizing pro-family policies.
