Service activity as a special kind of social practice

In the article the nature of service activity is determined as a particular kind of social practice, a distinctive peculiarity of which is an orientation on an another significant person - on a client. The dual (material-humanitarian) character of the service activity demonstrates its inhomogeneous and multifunctional nature, that provides special demands for professional qualities of service specialists.
