Services sphere: theoretical aspect

The service sector, as an object of theoretical analysis, is a complex, multidimensional phenomenon reflecting a fundamental shift in the economic and social organization of society. At its core, it marks the transition from an industrial paradigm focused on material production to a post-industrial paradigm, where intangible assets such as knowledge, unique experience, time resources, and quality of life are becoming central. This transition transforms not only the structure of the economy but also the very nature of consumption, communication, and value creation. An analysis of the scientific literature, based on data from electronic databases, demonstrates the increased attention of the academic community to the service sector. Based on this analysis, the theoretical characteristics of the service sector were identified and the specific features of its transformation in the digital economy were revealed.
