The resection of liver is the most effective method in treatment the patients with colorectal cancer metastasises in this body. Now criteria of resection ability are reconsidered and most of patients at whom all metastasises can be removed with negative edge of resection and adequate volume of the remaining parenchyma include. Nevertheless, only at 30% of patients it is possible to execute primary resection of liver. Indications to resection can be in addition expanded by the resection combination with radio-frequency or other types of ablation, and reduction of metastatic tumor (preoperative chemotherapy) sizes. Complex treatment of colorectal cancer metastases in liver demands the modern strategy based on interdisciplinary approach.
