School and teacher: today and tomorrow

From the perspective of the necessary reform of education, the article considers two interrelated processes: the education of children in school and the training of teachers in pedagogical universities. There is given a detailed comparative description of the two models of teaching (translational and authentic) at school and in the pedagogical university, which are opposed by the author. Specific proposals on the content and organization of educational processes in a modern school and a pedagogical university are formulated.
