The article summarizes the experience of creating conditions for professional and educational self-determination of schoolchildren at the School of a Young Teacher as vocational educational institutions are expected to accompany the professional choice of high school students. The article presents a variety of methods and forms of work aimed at increasing the level of readiness of high school students to choose a profession as well as stimulating their interest in the field of pedagogical activity.
