Simultaneous operations for lung cancer

The experience in performing simultaneous operations for 18 lung cancer patients has been presented. In most cases the extended resection of lung lobe was combined with surgery on the thyroid gland and gallblader. The case of successful treatment for the patient with central lung cancer who simultaneously underwent extended pulmonectomy and stomach resection on account of complicated ulcerous disease has been described.
