Symbolic and metaphoric representation of the image of stone in the works of the poets of the sixties

The article deals with the image semantic environment of the lexical unit “stone” in the poetic discourse of the poets of the sixties - E.A. Evtushenko, R.I. Rozhdestvenskiy, B.A. Akhmadulina and B.Sh. Okudzhava. There is conducted the comparative analysis of the revealed meanings and aspects of their usage.
