Heart connective tissue dysplasia at primary juvenile glaucoma patients

The ultrasonic research of heart was carried out on 22 patients with primary juvenile glaucoma. It is revealed, that heart connective tissue dysplasia meets in 72.7% of cases. Mitral valve prolapse was revealed in 54,5% of cases, abnormal located chords and trabecules of left ventricle of heart and their combinations were found in 63,6%. The manifestations of heart connective tissue dysplasia were in 100% of the patients at polygenic type of inheritance juvenile glaucoma and in 25% at autosomal dominant juvenile glaucoma. The realization of heart ultrasonic research and supervision are necessary for the primary juvenile glaucoma patients.
