Synthesis and structure of the adduct tri(para-tolyl)antimony dichloride with cloro(4-nitrophenoxy)tri(para-tolyl)antimony p-Tol3SbCl2·p-Tol3Sb(Cl)OC6H4(NO2-4)

Chloro(4-nitrophenoxy)tri(para-tolyl)antimony has been synthesized by the interaction of tri(para-tolyl)antimony dichloride with bis(4-nitrophenoxy)tri(para-tolyl)antimony (3:1 mol.) in toluene. The addition compound has been crystallized from the solution as the adduct p-Tol3SbCl2·p-Tol3Sb(Cl)OC6H4(NO2-4). The structure of the adduct has been established by the X-ray diffractionanalysis.
