The System of Basic Beliefs Among Young People With Varying Degrees of Violent Extremism

Violent extremism and its extreme form, terrorism are a global problem for humanity. Violent extremism poses a serious threat to the well-being of people and the state and occupies a special place among the social deviations of modern society in terms of the scale of destructive consequences and the complexity of timely prevention. The growth of extremism in recent decades has been linked to the availability of destructive weapons and the informational infl uence of radical ideologies. In this regard, the study of the belief system among youth with varying degrees of violent extremism dispositions. As a result of the conducted research, it was found that young people with a low level of violent extremism dispositions are more convinced of the benevolence of the outside world and their own luck compared to young people with an average level of violent extremism dispositions.
